IdentityIQ Business Administration: Roles v8.0 - ELEARNING

IdentityIQ roles help businesses simplify their compliance and provisioning processes for their line-of-business users. This course teaches students how to configure and maintain a role model in IdentityIQ. Students begin the course by learning about the benefits of roles and how they fit into the IdentityIQ data model. Students will utilize IdentityIQ’s role mining capabilities to define roles, which are then associated to identities through approved access requests, automatic assignment based on membership criteria, or detection based on the identity’s entitlements. Students will create roles using the standard two-tier role model, and then they'll learn how to extend the default model. Additionally, students will learn about IdentityIQ features that support role administration, including role certifications, impact analysis, and versioning. The course also includes tips for managing role projects and changes to role definitions.

The audience for this course includes Business Analysts and others tasked with defining and maintaining roles. Technical Implementers and System Administrators who need a more detailed understanding of roles will also benefit.

IdentityIQ Business Administration: Policy v8.0 - ELEARNING

IdentityIQ Policies are used for audit, legal, and privacy compliance, as well as for alignment to business standards. This course teaches students how to configure IdentityIQ Policies and monitor policy violations. Students begin the course by learning how policy is used to flag or disallow unwanted access conditions. Then, students learn how to configure each of the 7 policy types. The introduction to each policy type lesson includes an overview of the purpose for that policy type, and the kind of data available for defining the policy.

Students are provided hands-on practice with the following types of policies: Role SOD, Entitlement SOD, Account, and Advanced.

The audience for this course includes Compliance Officers, Business Analysts, Technical implementers, System Administrators, or anyone with a role in IT or Security who need a more detailed understanding of IdentityIQ Policy will also benefit.

Access certifications (also known as access reviews or attestations) help a business ensure and verify that users have only the access they should have to perform their jobs. This course teaches students how to configure and manage certification campaigns in IdentityIQ. Students begin the course by learning about the certification lifecycle and types of certifications that IdentityIQ provides. Then, students learn about each certification type in more detail and perform configurations to create certification campaigns. The course ends with topics on certification monitoring, management, and best practices.

Students work with the following types of certifications: Targeted, Manager, Application Owner, Advanced, Entitlement Owner, Role Membership, Role Composition, Account Group Permissions, Account Group Membership, and event-based certifications.
